UNIT: The Longest Night (#03)
|
|
|
'We interrupt this broadcast...' Having survived a day at the seaside, Robert
Dalton and Emily Chaudhry are enjoying a few pints... Having spent the day
answering the phone and praying for some action, Will Hoffman is enjoying a
night out... Having signed a controversial new European treaty, the Prime
Minister is on his way back to Downing Street... Having survived yet another
day, the people of Britain are settling down to eat dinner, stay in, go
out, spend time with their friends...
'... we're receiving reports that...'
It's just another ordinary evening in the United Kingdom...
'... a bomb has exploded in Central London...'

Kirby: "Tonight I will dispose of our enemy once and for all..."
Chaudhry: "Your predecessor once described me as "the little English Rose". I soon put him straight."
Fleming: "Remember what the chief said. No survivors!"
Chaudhry: "We could be looking at a John Smith situation."
Scott Christie: "London is effectively under siege."
Kirby: "Prime Minister, we need to go on the offensive."
Meena Cartwright: "Muslim extremists? That's it Major keep it nice and vague."
Meena Cartwright: "You really are just a sad old man, aren't you? Doesn't matter. You're time will be up soon."
Dalton: "It's not that unbelievable. A few hours ago we were fighting an invisible vampire on Southend beach. It's a man's life in UNIT." Chaudhry: "And there goes the Official Secrets Act!"
Kirby: "I need you to do something for your people. Will you do something for your people?"
Chaudhry: "We stop this now!"
Winnington: "They orchestrated the fall of Great Britain in less than an hour. They're going to take over and make things right."
