By Rupert Laight

Ghost Town
From The Back Cover...

Sarah and Josh set off for a well-deserved break in a remote Romanian village, hidden deep in the Carpathian Mountains. Sarah has arrived at an appropriate time - the place has become the setting for an International Peace Conference. When Sarah is awoken in the night by a terrifying apparition Josh is forced to wonder whether it's a ghost or just a figment of her imagination? But conference delegates are being terrified too - literally scared to death. Is there something deadly about the whole village?

Memorable Quotes

Yolande: "Ah, the unwilling sidekick. So nothings changed then bar the roles."

Josh: "Where have you brought me? Castle Death? Spook old house, Igor the butler. What next? A haunted suit of armour?"

Yoldande: "People need to feel they have an identity, even if technically it's not their own."

Yolande: "I hope you'll be comfortable tonight. This is a very friendly house."

Sarah Jane: "Only feeble minds believe in ghosts and phantoms and things that go bump. Everything has an explanation, even the supernatural."

Sarah Jane: "If there's one thing about me, I don't scare easily and I don't make things up."

Josh: "Well you know what they say, ignorance is bliss."
