Doctor Who: Her Final Flight
|
|
|
When the Doctor lands on Refiloe, he's not impressed. In fact, he doesn't
intend to stay for more than just a few minutes. But someone has decided
that the TARDIS has made her final flight. Someone whose future depends
on the Doctor's death.

Episode One:
Peri begs him to reconsider but Damus says only the will of their Goddess can save them now. If that happens, maybe then will he believe her and the Doctor's lies. Damus orders the pyre lighted and he calls on the flames to send the spirits back to their underworld...
Episode Two:
As the Doctor decides he cannot go after the orchestrating figure of this plot due to the TARDIS's fragile state, that said Agent is dealing with his assassin's failure. Fatally.
The Agent: "You must prepare his path to death and give him every reason
to follow it..."
Rashaa: "This will be a fine hunt."
The Doctor: "I can promise you with every fibre of my being, that as long
as I'm with you I won't let anything like that happen to you again."
The Doctor: "And Peri? It is good to see you again."
The Doctor: "From the smallest, flattened blade of grass she always leaves
her mark too."
The Agent: "Remember, many have tried to kill the Doctor. All have failed.
You are attempting that which many reasonably consider to be impossible."
Her Final Flight is a single CD release, free to subscribers only.
It is Julian Shortman's first play for Big
Finish.
