There's one place in creation where the truth really can be found in
the bottom of a glass: Bianca's, a very special and very exclusive
little club.
The Doctor, careworn and seeking quiet distraction, gains admission.
But his rest and relaxation is soon shattered by the wobbly arrival of
louche trans-temporal adventuress Iris Wildthyme. She claims she's on a
secret mission of vital importance, the success of which hinges on her
getting paralytic. When she's drunk, she can hear the whispering
voices in her head!
The Doctor soon learns that Bianca's airs and graces cover not just
one malevolent power lurking in the shadows, but several. And a
wriggling, writhing presence has designs on the clientele just as
Bianca herself has designs on the Doctor. At last, after so many
centuries, the weary Time Lord is dragged by the heels into that
darkest of undiscovered countries - love.

Episode One:
As the Taxi driver wants to know the location reference, the Doctor
realises that he knows what Iris was talking about. The entrance to
Bianca's is in Berlin but the club itself is in deep space...
Episode Two:
As Bianca's descends into chaos, the Doctor implores Iris to
stop singing or she'll destroy them all...
Episode Three:
The Doctor suddenly realises the way to solve everything.
Bianca is right and Iris must die...
Episode Four:
Mickey is concerned that if anything happens to the tapes there will
be nothing left of Bianca's at all, and Mr Ashcroft assures her
that he will look after them well...
Mickey: "Come on and have a drink. Just relax, it'll make
everything all the more ... vivid."
Mickey: "Of course I've been drinking, sweetheart. Everyone
must drink. That's the only way at Bianca's."
Bianca: "My dear, I leave nothing to chance."
The Doctor: "Everyone here appears quite sozzled." Bianca:
"It must be something in the drink"
The Doctor: "Usually you seem rather more pleased to see me."
Iris: "Do I?" The Doctor: "Usually I get something close
to a bear hug at this point and you dog my footsteps for days on end
and generally make my life a misery for a while before trundling
off again in that death-trap of a double-decker bus!"
The Doctor: "Haven't you had enough?" Iris: "Not yet,
no, I can't hear the voices yet!"
Mickey: "The audio medium, it can be so deceptive."
Iris: "Stop thinking and start drinking!"
Bianca: "My sweet, loveless Doctor, you investigate, you explore,
you probe mysteries wherever you find them! Do you dare to probe mine?"
The Doctor: "I've been looking in the wrong places for
everything since I was old enough to crawl!"
The Doctor: "You witless imitator!"
The Doctor: "Who ever heard of a diabolical denouement
occurring in a patisserie?"
The Wormery is an extra "normal" release for November 2003 and
features the first meeting of
Colin Baker's Sixth Doctor and Katy
Manning's Iris Wildthyme.
