Doctor Who: Sword Of Orion (#17)
|
|
|
The human race is locked in deadly combat with the 'Android Hordes' in the
Orion System. Light years from the front line, the Doctor and Charley
arrive to sample the dubious delights of a galactic backwater, little
suspecting that the consequences of the Orion War might reach them there.
But High Command's lust for victory knows no bounds.
Trapped aboard a mysterious, derelict star destroyer, the Doctor and
Charley find themselves facing summary execution. But this is only the
beginning of their troubles. The real danger has yet to awaken.
Until, somewhere in the dark recesses of the Garazone System, the
Cybermen receive the signal for reactivation...

human society in all it's grim and grimy glory.'
Charley: 'If you're not careful you'll bluff yourself into an
early grave.' The Doctor: 'Early? Some would say overdue!'
Deeva Jansen: 'Is this a hobby of yours pilot? Because it's a very
dangerous hobby.'
Grash: 'We've caught these two red-handed - literally - we should
be going back to Garazone Central to hand them over to the authorities,
not standing here discussing the state of the floors!'
The Doctor: 'They turned the light of their technology on
something they felt was holding them back.' Charley: 'Their dress
sense?' The Doctor: 'Emotions. Some say their surgically
removed their souls.'
The Doctor: 'Interfere? It's my specialty!'
The Doctor: 'Impatience isn't a virtue!'
CyberLeader: 'This moral discussion is irrelevant.'
Sword Of Orion features the return of the Cybermen, who are making
their audio debut. The script is a revised version of an Audio
Visuals story Briggs wrote.
