The Holy Terror
From The Back Cover...

The TARDIS lands in a forbidding castle in a time of religious upheaval. The old god has been overthrown, and all heretics are to be slaughtered. Obviously it isn't the sort of thing which would happen there every day - just every few years or so.

Soon after the Doctor and Frobisher are hailed as messengers from heaven, they become vital to opposing factions in their struggle for power. But will they be merely the acolytes of the new order - or will they be made gods themselves?

Evil is growing deep within the crypt. And the pair soon find out that they will be lucky to escape their new immortality with their lives.

Episode Endings

Episode One:
Sejanus arrives and says that if Pepin is truly a God then he will be able to take the bullets he will be proved a God and if he feels them he will die a heretic and despite Frobisher’s protests he fires...

Episode Two:
Pepin tells the people they have a new God in Frobisher, and much to his consternation, they begin to worship him...

Episode Three:
The Child wants to know who his father is, and asks the Doctor if he knows who he is. The Doctor tells him to lower his voice, and speak like the adults do. The child does this, and soon his voice resembles perfectly that of Eugene Tacitus...

Episode Four:
With only the TARDIS remaining within the void, the Doctor and Frobisher, both in a pensive mood after everything that's happened, decide that the best thing to do is to get away from here to somewhere else...

Memorable Quotes

Childeric: 'You are the most evil person I have ever known. Cruel, callous, without a shred of feeling. I have tried to model myself on you.'

Pepin: 'I thought I felt the twinge of something divine for a moment, but I've been having indigestion.'

Childeric: 'How dare you interrupt my insurrection!'

Clovis: 'Are you emissaries of God?' Frobisher: '...As the Doc says. No.' Clovis: 'Then you shall die.' Frobisher: 'Or to put it another way. Yes!'

Comments

The Holy Terror sees Frobisher makes his audio debut in Robert Shearman's brilliant script. It also features Sam Kelly, perhaps best known for comedic roles in 'Allo 'Allo and Porridge, and Peter Guinness who appeared in the film Sleepy Hollow.
