Doctor Who: The Land Of The Dead (#04)

Landing in Alaska, the Doctor and Nyssa encounter a group of people in a
most unusual house, cut off not only by the harsh climate but by their
individual secrets and obsessions.
Millionaire Shaun Brett is utilising chunks of the local area to
construct a shrine to his dead father. But when deadly creatures start
roaming outside, and a terrifying discovery is made inside the house, the
Doctor realises that Brett has unleashed an unimaginably ancient force.

Episode One:
The Doctor returns to find Nyssa trapped within the room. She believes
that the creatures are coming for her, and they want to kill them all...
Episode Two:
The communication with Nyssa is suddenly cut off as the creature
advances on the Doctor, looking ever more menacing....
Episode Three:
The Doctor realises that the Permians can harness the power contained
within the water of the Sea Room to get free, and as he and Monica run to
escape the barriers give way allowing the thousands of gallons of sea
water to escape...
Episode Four:
With it now safe to return to the TARDIS, the Doctor and Nyssa say
goodbye to Monica and Tulung who then begin their long walk back to the
dig site...
Tulung: 'Home is where the heart is. There's no heart in
this place.'
Shaun Brett: 'You're dressed for a game of cricket, I see.'
The Doctor: 'Yes, sadly called off. Due to snow, apparently.'
The Doctor: 'It must be covered completely.' Monica:
'Why? So it looks prettier while it's chasing us to our deaths?'
The Doctor: 'An ancient force to fight an ancient threat.'
The Land Of The Dead was Stephen Cole's first scripted Big
Finish audio, and marks the start of what can be seen as an interim
season set between season 19 and 20 featuring the Fifth Doctor
and Nyssa.
