While the first three
Doctor Who titles to feature the Daleks, The Genocide
Machine, The Apocalypse Element and
The Mutant Phase were released with the
overriding title of 'Dalek Empire', these pages refer to the standalone
Dalek Empire series which began in 2001. Written and directed by
Nicholas Briggs, the series features the
Daleks, but not the Doctor, putting the Daleks first and with no Time
Lords around to stop them it's down to the humans to stop the
onslaught of the Dalek Empire...
2003 saw the arrival of the second series Dalek Empire II: Dalek
War, which continued - and concluded - the story of Kalendorf, Alby
Brook, Mirana and Susan Mendes and their fight against the Daleks...
Despite this apparent finality, Dalek Empire III was released during
2004, telling a new story featuring new characters set in the universe as affected
by the events of the first two series.
